After the navigation was fixed and made more accessible, I then went on to create a responsive website which reorders itself according to the platform / device it’s being viewed on, for the best possible user experience. This allows the site to be viewed on mobiles, tablets and other devices easily.
I have added some subtle transitions to the site using CSS, so that the navigation links fade in and out quickly, to create a more pleasurable experience and a responsive slider which can be minimised so that there is more space for the listings and content to be read on the site. The slider is also responsive so it rescales proportionally to fit any device screens.
Graves Son and Pilcher have an employee who looks after small web updates and manages the listing of new properties, so I have created the site using a minimal amount of code and kept it all as clean and easy to edit as possible.
There is a Google map embedded on the contact page to allow people to find the office easily and also an online registration form to make registering a property with them even easier. The downloads section of the site allows users to download helpful pdf forms directly from the site as well.
